Bill specializes in civil litigation, focusing his practice on personal injury, negligence and bad faith cases. He is licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Colorado and Pennsylvania. He has successfully obtained recoveries for individuals killed or injured in automobile accidents because of other's negligence and clients who have suffered injuries due to dangerous property conditions.
Prior to joining VanMeveren Law Group, Bill was a partner in the law firm of Roberts, Miceli, Boileau and Doutt. During his time there, he developed courtroom expertise and experience that enable him to obtain just results for victims of negligence.
Bill earned his law degree from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While at Temple, he worked in clinical student positions at the Philadelphia Public Defenders' Office and the City of Philadelphia Solicitor's Office. He also worked as an assistant to Professor Salil Mehra for two years, where he researched intellectual property, antitrust and corporate issues.
Prior to attending law school, Bill earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. While at Penn State, he participated in a cooperative education program in research and development department of Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Bill is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Association, Larimer County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and Pennsylvania Bar Association. During his time practicing in Pennsylvania, he served as Treasurer of the Clinton County Bar Association from 2006-2008. He participated in Clinton County's Teen Court program, which is a non-criminal alternative court for first-time juvenile offenders accused of committing minor crimes or summary offenses, and he spoke and interacted with students in elementary and middle schools as part of Law Day. Bill was honored with a Pennsylvania Bar Association Pro Bono Award in 2008 for his volunteer work representing those without the resources to access the civil justice system.
Bill volunteers as the Logistical Operations Director for the Fort Collins Cycling Festival, which benefits local healthcare providers, where he helps to coordinate the myriad of activities of this exciting local event. He is an avid cyclist and mountain biker and he enjoys all types of outdoor activities, including hiking, running and snowboarding.
