Colorado car accidents: 6 hurt after driver loses control

A serious car accident on U.S. 285 near Alamosa has resulted in multiple injuries and suspicion of criminal conduct on the part of one of the drivers involved. According to Colorado State Patrol, the two-car accident may have been the result of speeding and/or intoxication. Car accidents involving intoxication are often more dangerous due to the level of negligence that is sometimes involved.

Series of car accidents in Colorado injures two, kills two others

We recently covered a story about two Colorado construction workers that were killed when an elderly man crashed through a construction site. The accident has been under investigation to determine if mechanical failure caused the fatal collision. State Troopers have determined that there were no mechanical malfunctions in the series of car accidents that injured the driver of a Subaru and his female passenger and killed the two men working. Another vehicle was struck also; however, no injuries were reported.

Car accidents in Colorado increase when impairment occurs

A horrific accident in Colorado recently killed two minors and left a third injured. The man that caused the accident admitted to being on painkillers and allergy medicine at the time of the collision. Car accidents happen when people lose focus and control slips away from them; however, driving under the influence greatly increases the chances of causing an accident that could have been avoided.
