Mr. Fermelia is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Colorado, Wyoming and California. He obtained both his undergraduate degree in accounting and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming.

Mr. Fermelia served 17 years as a Senior Assistant Attorney General defending the State of Wyoming in employment law and negligence administrative and litigation matters and prosecuting professional occupational licensing actions. He has defended many title insurance and lender liability matters and managed his own general practice law office. He also acted as counsel for the State of Wyoming Board of Judicial Policies and Administration and on two separate occasions served as staff attorney for the Wyoming Supreme Court.

He was named as one of the Top Lawyers in Wyoming by The Legal Network in 2013 through 2016. Mr. Fermelia is a certified instructor for the Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission in the areas of employment law, supervisor training and governmental claims and received his certification in the area of employee relations by the Institute of Applied Management and Law, Inc. and in the area of professional licensing regulatory law by the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Agencies. He has had articles published covering a number of legal topics.

Mr. Fermelia has been appointed to many boards including the Cheyenne Rotary Club, the Cheyenne Rotary Foundation, the Avenues Townhomes Association, Wyoming Sigma Chi Fraternity Association, the Sigma Chi House Corporation (Gamma Xi Chapter) and the Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus.

In his free time, Mr. Fermelia enjoys serving with various service organizations, fine dining, cooking, wine, travel and music. He also likes spending time outdoors playing tennis, golfing, road biking, running, swimming, competing in triathlons, snow shoeing, downhill/cross country skiing, camping, hiking, hunting and fishing.
